We are seeking an experienced Events Sales Coordinator to join our Events team and play a key role in driving event sales, building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional event experiences.

About the Role
This is a hands-on, client-facing role responsible for managing enquiries, preparing tailored proposals and converting bookings across corporate, social and wedding events. You’ll manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to contract confirmation, quoting events ranging from 10 guests through to multi-day conferences for up to 650 attendees and gala dinners for 500 guests.
Once an event is confirmed, it is handed over to our Conference & Events Planner for delivery, with your role focused on ensuring clear and thorough documentation for a smooth transition. You will also take full ownership of end-to-end wedding coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Enquiries
Manage conference, corporate, social and wedding enquiries, ranging from small meetings to large-scale, multi-day events
Prepare tailored proposals, quotes and contracts to suit a wide range of event styles and budgets
Proactively follow up enquiries to secure bookings
Manage the sales pipeline and work towards agreed targets
Conduct site inspections and client meetings
Weddings – End-to-End Ownership
Coordinate weddings from initial enquiry through to the event day
Guide couples through the planning process and key decisions
Develop comprehensive Wedding Banquet Event Orders (BEOs to ensure a seamless event experience.
Coordinate weddings on the day as the lead venue contact
Deliver a personalised, seamless wedding experience
Financial & Administration
Follow up deposits and outstanding payments in line with venue policy
Maintain accurate client accounts and financial records in the event management system
Business Development & Marketing Support
Build relationships with local businesses, suppliers and industry contacts
Attend networking events, expos and industry functions
Contribute to marketing campaigns, content ideas and showcase events
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Previous experience in event sales, planning or coordination, ideally within a venue or hospitality environment.
Understanding of venue operations, catering and AV requirements.
Experience using event management systems and Microsoft Office
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Confident managing multiple enquiries, deadlines and event types
A genuine passion for Events
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
